Over the weekend, the Mercian Marauders coaches have been all over the midlands coaching junior teams taking part in club competitions and it is a delight to see so many #mm24 players out there playing amazing hockey. There journeys continue.

We are busy planning #MM25, wow that already sounds exciting! But it is brilliant to hear how our older marauders are progressing with their hockey and keeping up with their adventures! #alwaysamarauder

A busy Easter saw the ⁦Mercian Marauders⁩ kick off their #MM25 campaign with two fabulous days at Ratcliffe college. We look forward to day 3 in Telford tomorrow.

Day three of #MM25 saw the girls go to ⁦Wrekin College Sport⁩ for an exciting day of hockey. They put in a massive effort today and showed real development with our themes. Oh yes they were electric!

Day 4 of #MM25 saw the boys go to ⁦Wrekin College Sport⁩ for their 2nd trial. That’s 12 hours of pitch time developing & growing. Top effort from everyone.

Day 5 of #MM25 saw the girls put in a huge effort at ⁦Information Chase Park⁩ playing some fantastic hockey in sunny weather. Well done everyone whose taken part in this years trials. Amazing effort from all.

Fabulous day for #MM25 Boys, they completed their trials at ⁦Cannock Community Hockey Club⁩ in glorious sunshine. Massive thank you to everyone that came along and made the program so special.

Day 7 of #MM25 saw the boys go to the home ⁦Barton Hockey Club⁩ in Burton, for a fabulous days training. Lots of hard decisions made, but made after 24 hours total pitch time, so it’s as fair as it can be. Now we push on harder, standards are being set by the MM25.

Day 8 of #MM25 saw the girls move to Trentham for a full days training. Lots of quality work happening within lines and building us up towards Nottingham. Well done everyone. Thanks ⁦Trentham Academy⁩ for hosting.

Thursday saw the boys complete Day 11 of #MM25, thank you ⁦Trentham Academy⁩ for hosting us. The layers of principles are building up. Cracking day.

An amazing few days away with the ⁦Mercian Marauders⁩ Boys #MM25 they played some thrilling & entertaining hockey & learnt so much. Thank you everyone for making it all work so well. The ⁦UK Lions Hockey⁩ festival was the biggest ever & we were delighted to take part.
