Lexham Press is publishing some of the best stuff out there. It has been wonderful to work with them on Mere Fidelity. Definitely worth taking advantage of this sale!

On the latest episode of Mere Fidelity, Matthew Lee Anderson, Derek Rishmawy, and I discuss Richard Hays's recent work, The Widening of God's Mercy, and his changed position on Christian sexual ethics. soundcloud.com/mere-fidelity/…

Had a good conversation about Hays’s material arguments, the issue of changing your mind, and the extra weight before God of a teacher doing so and inviting others to do the same.

If you haven't already heard, Matt is stepping down from the Mere Fidelity podcast as he focuses on his other work. Mere Fidelity will continue! But there will be a hiatus beginning after our final episode of 2025.

Quite the milestone for us all, and for the podcast. We are extremely sorry to be losing Matthew Lee Anderson and, whatever direction Derek Rishmawy and I take things, it will be impossible to replace him.

Hard to sum up 10 years of conversation and friendship, but we are going to miss Matt’s voice on the show deeply. Matthew Lee Anderson has been one of my favorite people to disagree with and learn from and laugh with.

My favorite podcast for many years. Matthew Lee Anderson was kind & compassionate enough to respond & help when I went looking for his writing on a particular subject very personal to me. I've never forgotten the phrase he used in that note, a "hard providence." Thank you, Matt.

Marveled that it’s been 10 years. I’ve profited from listening to the conversations between Andrew Wilson, Alastair Roberts, Matthew Lee Anderson, Derek Rishmawy, and their guests. Also from the hosts’ modeling of friendship. Matt will be missed. Godspeed on whatever lies ahead.

From Alastair Roberts's recent Substack: "On Thursday morning, Derek, Andrew, Matt, and I recorded our final episode of Mere Fidelity with the full original cast. We have been podcasting together for over ten years now and, although we have thousands of listeners, I think we have
