Congratulations Minoru, Ziad and all the team! Very happy to contribute to this research. I still remember when you (Ziad Mallat) asked us in a lab meeting many years ago, what will happen if we feed mice on an intermittent vs continuous high fat diet? Check the results bellow…

It was such a great experience yesterday! I had the honour to moderate an inspiring debate organised by BAS YSC on the future of ECRs in academia. Thanks to Cornelia Weyand, Meritxell Nus, James Leiper, and Edwin Chilvers for your motivation and energy. Big thanks to British Atherosclerosis Society!

Check out our last review on how we could utilise the #gutmicrobiota to modulate the adaptive immune response to treat #atherosclerosis. Well done to despina giakomidi Thank you to our funders British Heart Foundation . CambridgeCardio VPD Heart & Lung Research Institute frontiersin.org/journals/cardi…

Just astonishing - these guys publish in Cell Metabolism that blocking CX3CL1/CX3CR1 is a novel approach for treating atherosclerosis, yet they fail to cite the seminal papers by Mallat_Lab Combadiere and Charo’s groups published back in 2003! Scientific integrity matters!
