Excellent talks yesterday at the Public Health Science ECR Day. Finishing with Gavin Cleaver's message to all PhD students: "you are the experts". Grappling with imposter syndrome as a PhD student is a shared struggle, but remember: your work matters, your voice is valuable!

Excellent talk by Julie Cowie about a co-designed incentive intervention to support healthy weight and wellbeing (ELLY study) with promising outcomes: “Just being engaged in community activities… losing weight was almost a bit of a bonus!”

It was great to join the workshop on Epigenetics in Human Reproduction hosted by Nuffield Council on Bioethics (NCOB) today. Really engaging discussion on the latest research, ethical considerations and future applications in this field!


Yesterday was the The Doctoral College Researcher Conference. It was great to have excellent representation from SAPPHIRE PGRs SAPPHIRE research I enjoyed chairing a session of talks, and sharing my research via poster.
