JD Vance Ryan Rabinowitz 5. The Righteous Spy by Merle Nygate. Enjoyed it a lot. Had never heard of her until the Financial Times recommended her most recent book (obviously!) so I decided to start at the beginning with book number 1. Gripping thriller that keeps the pace consistent until the end. On to number 2!

Just out! Me talking #FrankMerlin, #WW2 crime and my latest book, #DeathOfAnOfficer, with the brilliant @ToniSenior on her great SpyMasters podcast series. The new book is out 29/5. Aspects of History Historia – the HWA The Crime Writers’ Association podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/cro…

Absolutely loved paul vidich’s latest spy novel The Poets Game. If you share my taste for realistic yet still thrilling espionage writing then you will love it too.
