The other day I found my original notebook where I started drafting what was then called ‘The Baby Forest’! My process is editing and re-editing to focus in on the emotional heart of the story and its most vivid moments Intrepidus Ink

In flash fiction, the tone of the writing and the language chosen can carry a lot of the emotion and the mood. I tried to keep the tone grave, with a few sprinkles of chivalry, a bit like the main character herself! Intrepidus Ink
