A fine 100 to start the bank holiday Monday from Stephen Doheny out in the Vineyard, his 115 and Swapnil Modgill getting 71 have set M1 up nicely in The Hills, they are currently 221-3 after 37 overs with John Anderson and Jamie Forbes at the crease.

The Women’s 1st XI kick off their season tonight at home to The Hills Cricket Club at 5.45pm. The bar will be open and the sun is out for what promises to be a great opening game. Hoping to see a big crowd down to support.

On Friday night we had the pleasure of welcoming HackneyCricketClub back to Anglesea Road for another tour match, following on from the success of last year’s fixture. A close run game saw Merrion come out on top, with some strong performances with bat and ball from both sides.

Looking forward to starting the defence of our Senior 2 Cup title this afternoon against Wexford Wanderers Cricket Club Team listed below

While we might have come out on the wrong side of our game against Clontarf Cricket Club in the Leinster Senior Cup, it would be remiss not to acknowledge yet another Merrion ton, for the one and only John Anderson

Result from Anglesea Road as M2 progress on to the quarter-finals of the Senior 2 Cup where they will face Terenure Cricket Club at home next month.

A great afternoon had by all at our 1st Presidents lunch of the year last Saturday at Anglesea Road. Thanks to Mister Magpie for the brilliant food and all the volunteers involved in organising the event. Ballsbridge

Day 2 of our bumper weekend if fixtures sees M1 take on Railway Union Cricket Club in Alan Murray T20 action tonight, where Merrion have won the toss and will bat first.
