We've had a few MAZ artists in this week, updating me on their projects. It's lovely to be part of their journey, see them grow in confidence and spread their wings. I've met two new artists this week who are unique in what they do and I'm looking forward to introducing them.

We have had a busy week, where does the time go? We will be closing earlier today at 2pm. MAZ has been invited to Singing Cafe's event in the Floral. Chris Youngman is an artist and also a musician, she started the singing cafes a few years raising money for hospice.

I've been trying to post this week but it has been busy. I will post over the weekend, we have three artists back in MAZ from when MAZ was in Vale Park. There is a new artist in at the weekend too and two regular MAZ artists in. Meanwhile the little ones have been busy too 💜

New artwork in from local artist Derek A Prescott - MA Artist. Derek works in acrylic and enjoys painting local landscapes. 'Algar Matters - River Mersey' is for sale here in MAZ Gallery in the Floral Pavilion.

MAZ Gallery will be open to 5pm and back again tomorrow 10-5pm. We have 40 local artists displaying their artwork in different mediums and styles. If you don't see what you are looking for, let me know. We have more artists who are waiting to display and I can source the art.

We have artist and musician Neil Whitehead in MAZ with his latest painting. Neil was inspired by a trip to Hakuba in Nagano, Japan. Hakuba is known for its alpine terrain and snow monkeys. Neil's painting is of the sky and weather over the distant mountains. 'Hakuba Snow'

We will be closed this week for a long over due break and back open next Wednesday. After a busy year so far in MAZ, it's time I recharged my batteries for the Autumn. See you all next week x
