Monday Art Day. This pastel drawing is by Vic Hine from the early 1970's. It shows the Wandle at the part between Morden Hall Park and Phipps Bridge. He refers it in his notes as the Old Deer Park or Phipps Bridge Meadows. He says that he had many times seen the area flooded.

Fantastic to welcome attendees to the Fair Game conference today, at the home of the newly-promoted AFC Wimbledon. I emphasised the need to ensure the beautiful game is competitive & fans have a voice at the table.

Walking around Cannon Hill this morning and it’s clear that despite Merton Council claiming all streets are cleaned weekly that it’s just not true. Litter and low level waste everywhere, plus various fly tipping all reported.
