Last night was our final night of the year for our Santa Sleigh tour, we have raised £1924.23 for the Fire Fighters Charity adding that to the rest of the fundraising we’ve done this year the final total is £6071.92. Thank you everyone who has donated Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Laura Challis
14:55 Metheringham Fire attended Middle Street, Metheringham to a chimney fire. Fire damage to birds nest within chimney and half square metre of carpet within property. Crews used 1 hose reel, 2 breathing apparatus and chimney gear to extinguish.
20:16 - Metheringham Fire attended Long Lane, Brauncewell to a quantity of waste wood on fire in a farmyard. Extinguished using 1 hose reel and 1 hay drag. Caused by controlled burning left unattended
