Putting Helsley in a 1 run game with a full bullpen ready & a day off tomorrow is truly malpractice by Carlos Mendoza. No other way around it.

The Ryan Helsley trade was great at the time. Had to do it. He's had a brilliant career. It just has not worked. Can't knock Stearns for the trade. He's just failed and won't be back next year.

Mets need to get Dylan Ross up here for this bullpen ASAP.
