Our paper is out! Very briefly: Perceived softness is not just compliance, silk and sand can also be soft. We use stereotypical hand movements while exploring these soft materials. Analyses for around 1500 2-min videos of people touching stuff 🫰🤏 👋doi.org/10.1038/s41598…

I will be recruiting MSc students, PhD students, and a postdoc for 3 Tübitak projects that explore 1) the two-way interactions between memory & attention, 2) adaptive interplays between working and long-term memories, and 3) event segmentation. Get in touch if interested!
