Kids are 70 times more likely to get to school safely on the bus (NHTSA). School buses are designed for safety and visibility—if your school district offers a bus service, consider that instead of driving your child. #PedestrianSafetyMonth

Trains weigh thousands of tons and can’t stop as easily as a car or a truck. Keep yourself and others safe by respecting railway crossings and obeying safety signals. Always yield to a train. That train can’t yield to you. #StopTrainsCant #railsafety #trainsafety

Halloween’s almost here! There will be little ones walking on sidewalks and streets. Excited children can move in unexpected ways, so drive slowly and be extra careful in residential areas. #HalloweenSafety

While a somber remembrance, the Blue Mass is also a celebration of life. We appreciate the understanding of our residents and the help of the many volunteers who helped make this a special day.

When you’re behind the wheel, don’t lose sight of what it feels like to be a pedestrian. Remember that we're all pedestrians, and crossing can be intimidating. #PedestrianSafety
