Otherworldly wonderfulness Barbican Centre care of the Will Gregory Moog Ensemble ensemble and Britten Sinfonia - an orchestra that, facing tough cuts, is resiliently brimming with artistry and invention. They deserve our love and support.

Such good news, and well deserved. Lovely to be reminded just now on In Tune BBC Radio 3 how fresh and invigorating Pound of Cure is. Glad we had the mics up in Milton Court last October.

Mancunian fanboy moment: thanks to the backstage David Butcher pass at The Bridgewater Hall, two Prog anoraks got to meet one of their non-classical heroes. Thanks Steve Hackett for keeping the Genesis flame alive so brilliantly 50+ years on.

Absolutely stunning concert from Britten Sinfonia Thomas Gould and #MirandaDale The Apex. So much energy, vitality, emotion and flawless ensemble. One of the most exciting concerts I’ve ever been to. #livemusic maxrichtermusic Steve Reich Philip Glass

One more day to apply for this great role, working with the tirelessly productive Chris Bell and his burgeoning Learning & Participation department.

Congratulations to Britten Sinfonia and Tim Garland on a successful performance at the London Jazz Festival, as reviewed by The Times below. thetimes.com/culture/music/…

Insanely amazing evening at the stunningly revamped Bristol Beacon with Britten Sinfonia Chris Thile Suzie Collier & my complete idol Jacob Collier. 🌟 A totally joyous night of magical collaboration, invention & wonder. 🎶 Didn’t stop smiling all evening. 😊

Stunning concert from Britten Sinfonia in St Eds Cathedral. Pärt, Shostakovich & Tavener have never sounded so fresh. Such visceral playing from all (especially soloists Zoë Beyers & Miranda Dale) with a fab new piece by @CherylHoad featuring glittering vibraphone from Owen Gunnell.

.Britten Sinfonia's Surround Sound Playlist are a feast for the senses. Two more concerts in the series at Peterborough and Ely later this week. ⬇️Link in Comments
