⚠️ A Flood Watch will be in effect through 8AM Tuesday . Excessive runoff may result in flooding of creeks and other low-lying, flood-prone locations, such as urban areas & roadways. 🚨Stay weather aware and have multiple ways to receive weather alerts!

If you must drive during inclement weather conditions, be sure to exercise caution and reduce your speed to prevent accidents. Rain creates a thin film of water on the surface of a road, which can cause your tires to lose traction, even at speeds as low as 35 mph.

With severe weather in the forecast, we urge all residents to keep manhole covers closed. It may briefly relieve street flooding, but it overwhelms our wastewater system & increases the risk of sewer overflows. Let’s work together to protect our infrastructure & public health.
