Hospitals and physicians around the country are sharply criticizing the federal government for the uneven and opaque way it is distributing its supply of the Covid-19 drug remdesivir. buff.ly/3drR8NB

How can a country that has required you to take your shoes off at airport security for a 2001 foiled attempt without a single person hurt ...... be the same one that has no systematic plan to address >73,000 Americans dead, >1.2 million confirmed cases?

Proud of my friend Michael Ison for speaking out regarding the lack of transparency on Remdesivir Allocation: the public should be outraged wsj.com/articles/healt…

Given increasing global travel, continued emergence of new infectious diseases, antibiotic-resistant organisms, and a growing population, the role that infectious diseases specialists will have in the health of everyone in society will only increase. thelancet.com/journals/lanin…

The Trump Administration is choosing which Americans will have access to remdesivir & who will not - but no one knows how these decisions are being made. If you aren't happy with this, call your Senator & Congressperson and ask for transparency in the distribution of remdesivir!

The title of the article says it all “Trump officials' dysfunction harms delivery of coronavirus drug.” We are now 1 week since EUA and still no information on how remdesivir is being distributed. Our patients are suffering and dying due to this delay. axios.com/trump-coronavi…

Need transparency at all levels about #Remdesivir allocation. If states are doing the allocation is there is single approach or variations being used? Is it really going to hospitals with the most patients in need? Transparency is needed NOW.
