Should Zohran Mamdani, if elected Mayor, keep Jessica Tisch as Police Commissioner? Would love to hear any and all thoughts. If you want to keep it between us, send me a DM or email.

AOC makes an excellent, oft-overlooked point. After Zohran Mamdani won, the biggest meltdowns came from those with the most distance from him. The more voters came to know Zohran, the more they liked him. Already, the once-rigid opposition is softening. Maybe he isn’t so bad?

NEW: Billionaires raised her. Cops trust her. Elites love her. Crime is down on her watch. But will Zohran Mamdani keep Jessica Tisch as NYPD commissioner? My thoughts on Mamdani's first BIG decision: michaellange.nyc/p/zohran-mamda…

Another banger by Michael Lange about the complicated and significant decision Mamdani must make whether or not to retain Jessica Tisch as NYPD commissioner: open.substack.com/pub/michaellan…

The Final Map ! — You can see the Commie Corridor + Hillside Avenue from space — Mamdani blitzed Cuomo in Harlem, Hamilton Heights, & Bed-Stuy — Cuomo holds the UWS & UES, but submits a poor showing in Manhattan A new map of NYC: less stratified by race, more by housing and age

In the final round of RCV, Zohran Mamdani won Hakeem Jeffries' Congressional District (NY8) by 11.6%. Jeffries, the House Democratic Leader, has not endorsed Mamdani, the Democratic nominee, ahead of the General Election in November.

I fear too many people are drawing this conclusion. Zohran entirely reshaped the electorate. The vast majority of his #1 voters (cross-endorsements, WFP/DREAM) also ranked other non-Cuomo candidates. Had Mamdani not run at all, many of "his" voters don't turn out to begin with.
