Very curious. In May 2022, the ICJ issued provisional measures against Russia. Canada said: “We welcome the Court’s ruling and strongly urge Russia to comply with his legally binding order….ICJ is a pillar of the rules-based international order.” 5/8

In August 2022, after the ICJ issued provisional measures against Myanmar, Canada joined a statement with other states: “We reiterate that Myanmar must comply with the ICJ’s provisional measures order.” 6/8
