Why on earth are people still celebrating impact factors?! We know a) it is a bad metric, and b) not a an indicator for quality research. Sometimes rather the opposite. What would be interesting are changes in citation patterns for journals that publish Registered Reports.

Check out the preprint of our newest manuscript! 😎 It's about performance comparisons of systemic artifact correction methods with and without short distance channels. Might be especially interesting for those using #fNIRS in real-time applications 🤖biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

All NeuroImage and NeuroImage:Reports editors have resigned over the high publication fee, and are starting a new non-profit journal imaging-neuroscience.org This comes with great regret, and a huge amount of thought and discussion- please read announcement to get more details.
