This PPI report should serve as a wakeup call to Washington that we cannot sacrifice affordability in our pursuit to reach net-zero. And we don't have to. Natural gas is an affordable and reliable solution that lowers energy costs and reduces emissions for all Americans.

Without permitting reform to expand natural gas infrastructure, minority communities will bear the brunt of rising energy costs. We can reduce emissions without sacrificing affordability. I urge Democrats to act and ensure no one's left behind in the clean energy transition.

Blocking natural gas projects has hindered climate progress while leaving marginalized communities behind in the clean energy transition. Democrats must recognize natural gas plays a key role in driving down emissions while ensuring access to affordable energy to fuel our lives.
