He is, in fact, completely wrong. And if you think it means nothing, Iâd suggest a history book and even a foreign affairs lesson with say John Bolton.

Ontarioâs 25% tariff on electricity means higher costs for homes & businessesâhitting upstate families and manufacturers hard. More pain for NY, all thanks to Trumpâs reckless trade war & the New York GOP + NYS Senate Republicans cheering it on.

NYâs longest-serving teacher, Martha Strever, is in the Capitol today, and met Tom DiNapoli. âI could have used you for trigonometry â that was my downfall!â the comptroller tells Strever, who has served as a math teacher in the Hudson Valley since 1961.

Strever, the 1st woman to chair the math dept. at her school in Red Hook, is Michelle Hincheyâs honoree today for the Legislative Womenâs Caucusâ annual celebration for Womenâs History Month. Hinchey says Strever only takes the stairs, adding âsheâs an inspiration in every way.â

NYS receives $2 billion in federal funding to support free meals for our kids. If DOE is eliminated, would that funding be gone? Iâm grateful to our leaders in the state Governor Kathy Hochul, Senator Patricia Fahy, Jessica GonzĂĄlez-Rojas (votejgr.bsky.social), Michelle Hinchey who have been fighting for this.

NYCOM continues to push for SWAP legislation so our municipalities have a dedicated funding stream for preventive maintenance and small scale capital projects! We continue to work with SWAP sponsors Michelle Hinchey and Assemblymember Dr. Anna R. Kelles to get this into the final state budget.

Thank you to Governor Kathy Hochul and the legislature, especially Assembly Agriculture Committee Chair Donna Lupardo and Senate Agriculture Committee Chair Michelle Hinchey for their work to support agriculture in the state budget. #NYSBudget

Endless gratitude to Senator Michelle Hinchey & AM Jessica GonzĂĄlez-Rojas (votejgr.bsky.social) â youâve been fearless, tireless champions for universal school meals. Because of your leadership, no NY student will go hungry. This is what putting kids first looks like.

NY enacts universal school meals! đ Weâre thrilled to see #Meals4AllNY funded in the final budget. Thank you Governor Kathy Hochul, Sen. Stewart-Cousins, Carl Heastie, Jessica GonzĂĄlez-Rojas (votejgr.bsky.social), Michelle Hinchey & the NY Legislature for ensuring all kids have the nutrition they need to thrive!

VICTORY FOR NY KIDS! đNew York has made universal free school meals a reality for 2.7M kids. Thank you Governor Kathy Hochul , Sen. Stewart-Cousins , Speaker Carl Heastie, Jessica GonzĂĄlez-Rojas (votejgr.bsky.social) , Michelle Hinchey & the NY Legislature for this historic investment in NY kids & families!

New York State officially expanded universal school meals statewide in its FY26 Budget! Thank you Governor Kathy Hochul, Michelle Hinchey, Jessica GonzĂĄlez-Rojas (votejgr.bsky.social), and the NY Legislature for ensuring all children have access to the nutrition they need to succeed. #Meals4AllNY

âThis expansion is about more than foodâitâs about equity, dignity, and opportunity. You cannot teach a hungry child. And no child should feel stigma for needing a meal.â -Michelle Hinchey midhudsonnews.com/2025/05/13/redâŠ
