You don’t have to build confidence before taking action. You build confidence by taking action. Standing still breeds rumination and seeds self-doubt. Motion fuels progress and elevates efficacy. Never let doubts about your ability undermine your faith in your ability to learn.

Holding people accountable doesn't mean you're against them, it means you're for them. It means you're fighting for their best, that you care enough to not allow them to settle for mediocrity. The key is in how you hold them accountable. Call people up, not out.

When you consider the effectiveness of your coach, make sure you look at all the time they were working in other roles. Do "other duties as assigned" take up more than 10 min daily? 10 min a day = 50 min weekly= 30 hrs away from supporting instruction yearly.

When challenges arise, some leaders assert their intellect by providing immediate instruction, hindering their teams' independent thinking. Try leading with silence. Intervene only when necessary, granting others space to maximize their capabilities. #Multipliers
