My statement on yesterday's Welfare vote:

I was in Parliament yesterday for the launch of the APPG Report into the rights of children in custody. Excellent work from Miranda Bevan , Michelle Welsh MP and others. Recommendation re appropriate adults has got me thinking even more about the respective AA/Intermediary roles.

It is so refreshing to have a Secretary of State for Health that listens and acts. Embedding services within the community, tackling deep rooted health inequalities - delivering an NHS fit for the future. A 10 year plan that secures the NHS for generations to come.
