It looks like the Oklahoma GOP believes in DEI after all. Would it be fine skewing standard procedure to get "more input" from Black communities? From women? State policy cannot be based on the whims of only the most conservative communities, unduly privileging a small fraction.

Dollens is 100% correct here. If it’s about allowing more voters to have a say in SQ’s the time allowed for signature gathering should be extended. That’s the move that would allow SQ campaigns to actually reach every county, even though in most cases they already do so.
