A fantastic lesson in English practising our reading skills, researching and creating a timeline all about Walt Disney in preparation for our biography! ✨Well done Y6.

What a fantastic staff meeting with Lancashire Heritage looking at chronology. It was great to look at new and creative ways of supporting our pupils with developing their understanding of chronology. Thank you 👏

Today in Year 3, we were immersed in the opening of Tutankhamun’s tomb. We looked at some of the artefacts that were found by Howard Carter in 1922. We thought about how it must have felt to make a discovery that changed history forever. It was very exciting to be in role! 🔍 🔦

Take a look at some amazing 3D pyramids Year 3 created as part of their homework project based on Ancient Egypt. They are all absolutely fantastic.

An amazing day at the Children’s Conference Chorley St James exploring prayer spaces. We cannot wait to bring some of these back to school. Well done to all our pupils who represented Middleforth for the day.
