These tornadoes most certainly did not come “out of nowhere”. This was a well forecasted event and coordinated accordingly for the regions impacted. These are troll accounts ran by complete morons.

Much of Central/Eastern Oklahoma has a conditional risk of strong/intense tornadoes today. That said, there's certainly some flies in the ointment that could lead to some significant "underperformance". A mid-level cold-front-aloft will bifurcate two regimes:

On Sunday, I got to chase with my favorite chase partners Connor McCrorey and LancePants, AND give my mom a front-row-seat to the greatest show on earth. Then we celebrated with Taco Mayo and cruised some snakes on our way home. Happy Late Mother’s Day Mommer💚

Not the greatest place to put a boundary today. Many questions remain of the degree and nature of surface forcing for storms later on, but recovery on the cool side is likely, with an environment conditionally supporting extremely large hail and intense tornadoes.

at 3pm surface theta-E was increasing north of the original boundary... and a new theta-E gradient forms further north...
