Rod Blagojevich withheld funds for sick children for political leverage. We should not be surprised that Trump doesn’t think that’s a crime. The difference is when Blagojevich did it, Democrats impeached him. When Trump illegally withholds funds, Republicans cheer him on.

It seems like just yesterday it was warm and sunny, but today it’s overcast, damp, and we are back in the 50’s. Looks like Trump and MAGA are getting their wish.

Pleasure closing out #PrideMonth by marching in the Chicago Pride Parade! Marching can be an act of resistance in these times when LGBT people are under attack. I will always stand up for equal rights and will fight for the right to love who you love.

I hate to see rain on a parade, especially when my hometown is celebrating their 150th anniversary. It was great to see so many friends at the community building at at the parade before the rain started. Happy sesquicentennial, Gifford!
