Last night one of the most conservative people I know gave me a serious donation to my efforts to help folks in need. How do we convince guys like that their votes are putting the most vulnerable in harm's way. Because I really want to break thru to just a small percentage.

In many states, overt racism and sexism by a sitting state representative would get him chastised by his party. In South Dakota, I expect this clod will someday run for Governor. And get a lot of votes. #hifromSD

A little confusing, but correct. He molested and raped his adopted daughter for YEARS, but was arrested a week before the election. Still got a huge number of votes. He is out after a little over 2 years. Wonder if the South Dakota GOP will welcome him back? It wouldn't surprise me.

Too many people think racist history only belongs to one part of the country. Not true. Less than 100 years ago, in my home state, this happened. BTW, North Platte is the home of Buffalo Bill Cody. So a lot of museums there. I wonder if this story is told in any of them.

When you have nothing, $51 is everything. And the cuts to this program that help folks in need will increase the next few years. This wasn't decided by the #sdleg. It was a committee, with the South Dakota GOP members making it happen. To save $1.5 million, when we have a $60 mil reserve.

Hey Rep. Dusty Johnson. This winter 1000's of SD residents stepped up and spoke out when there were proposed funding cuts to SDPB. Those cuts were tossed out. If you vote against NPR, you are ignoring what your constituents want. Not a good idea for a guy running for governor.

Congratulations, Rep. Dusty Johnson! Today you were able to take food out of the mouths of starving refugee kids, and still managed to shoot Bert & Ernie! All to save 1/10th of 1 percent of the total USA budget. As the old saying goes, little man, you've had a busy day.

Today Leader John Thune said that the rescission package will cut 1/10th of 1% of the budget, which has already been approved. It takes food away from starving refugee children, but John is fine with it in the name of saving waste. That doesn't sound very Christian to me.

My dad was a finalist for these ads. 1 of 3 or 50 finalists, I don't know. He never acted in his life, but the casting director knew him and asked him to audition. I also don't know if he was the one in suspenders, or the guy in the ill-fitting hat who never said a single word.
