Extremely niche request alert. There’s a weird two way push button hydraulic valve on a Multimate box tipper (used by me for Blackburn crates). Anyone know what it would be called and if you can get replacements?

The most excited I’ve been about any capital expenditure ever. Bought 50/50 with a neighbour in a (perhaps) unrealistic attempt to rid our farms of wet holes over the next few years

Drain location planning is really quite easy in some fields this year using the last few NVDI images. Late drilled wheat and wet soils over winter = thin patches. No rain in the spring = poor rooting, compounding the problem.

If you want to know about the priorities of its previous owner, I’ve just realised that the second hand tractor I bought a few weeks ago no longer has a lunch box, but does instead have a ginormous subwoofer

One simple differentiator between farmer led drainage boards and both the Environment Agency and County Council is that everyone in the drainage board puts their direct contact number at the bottom of their emails.
