We looked at 600+ patients and found that females fared better with BRAF/MEKi than males; striking! Dissected this using preclinical models to identify that testosterone-AR promoted resistance and AR blockade improved response to targeted therapy in males…AND females! (2/4)

Read together with amazing work by Amy Moran Lab (also in this issue of nature) also identifying #AR as driver of T-cell exhaustion with #ICB in #CRPC. Together indicative of the huge impact these findings are going to have across #cancer and #treatment types! (3/4)
