Twins will place Royce Lewis on 10-day injured list with a mild left hamstring strain.

Whew, it’s worse than I thought. According to Stathead, Ober’s 14 HRs allowed in June are tied for 2nd-most in a calendar month in MLB history. He’s 6th ever to allow 14. Only pitcher ever to give up more: Pedro Ramos of Senators — the Twins’ forefathers — with 17 in June 1957.

IF Jonah Bride, DFA’d on Sunday, has cleared waivers and been assigned outright to Class AAA St. Paul.

The Twins are also placing RHP Bailey Ober on the 15-day injured list with a left hip impingement. LHP Kody Funderburk has been recalled to replace him. Not sure yet who takes Ober’s start Friday vs. Rays.
