20 Milly Bags were delivered to Ward 86 this morning. I wish there was no need for our bags, but whilst we can’t change the fact that children are diagnosed with cancer every day, we can let families know that we care and try and make a small difference in Milly’s name.

Every day I prayed with all of my being to let the treatment work, to give us a miracle and let Milly have a future. For the whole 14 months I wished it was me, I wished that I could take away her pain and her fear and let her live the life she had before diagnosis.

Today it’s 8 years that I have survived without Milly.... 8 years is a lifetime to be without one of your children, and yet it’s no time at all.... The pain...the loss...her absence from every part of my life is still felt so intensely...my heart breaks every single day 🎗💔

Our delivery duo were at Ward 3B @ Alder Hey today, we have been working with the ward for 5 years now, (our first delivery was 1st October 2018) and during this time we have supported 365 children and families (which amounts to £51,100). We are proud to make a difference every single day

We had a new member on our delivery team today! Kathryn joined Graeme on the drive to Nottingham, where they safely delivered 20 Milly Bags. This is our second delivery to Ward E39, Nottingham Children’s Hospital🎗 we are so proud to be able to support their newly diagnosed children 🎗

There are some who bring a light so great to this world, that even after they are gone the light remains 🌈🎗❤️

This morning we took a further 20 Milly Bags to John Atkinson. We don’t like to cause a fuss on our bag deliveries we very much like to keep things simple and uncomplicated, we arrive, hand over the bags to the staff and then we leave. We have delivered 840 bags to the ward in total 🎗

Yesterday we held our SOULS support group, it was a lovely morning, beginning with coffee, fresh pastries, then some great pumpkin carving resulting in very unique fabulous designs. Groups are every month, for bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings at no cost for attending.

Milly’s annual walk is this Sunday at 11am - food and hot drinks provided at the finish 🎗

It’s my daughters 20th birthday today, her 9th birthday in heaven. I miss her so much and I count every day without her, life with a child in heaven is so tough, in fact it’s indescribable. Today hurts 💔

We have been in Manchester today to deliver to John Atkinson. We are so proud to have provided a total of 900 Milly Bags, since we began supporting the ward in March 2016. Milly Bags are bags that no parent ever wants to receive but when they do, they are always extremely grateful.

My beautiful Milly, my heart is forever broken, nothing will ever be the same, missed endlessly

Messages like this carry far more credibility than anything that we could say ourselves and it really does help us to know that we are making a small difference at a very difficult and frightening time 🌈🎗️
