Your furnace is working hard, but is it working safely? Get an annual inspection of fuel-burning appliances and vents by a registered contractor – find one at COsafety.ca. 🚨Prevent CO poisoning and install CO alarms adjacent to all sleeping areas. #KnowCOSafety

Ring in the new year safely! In the event of a fire make sure to choose a meeting place outside, a safe distance from your home. Examples: • A tree 🌳 • Streetlight💡 • Neighbour’s home🏠 In case of fire, everyone should go directly to this meeting place to be accounted for.

Have an extra set of lights to hang a little too far away from the wall plug?🔌 Only use extension cords as a temporary connection. Make sure cords never go under rugs as this can cause damage to the cord and cause a fire.
