Anyone can have a good attitude when they're playing well, the team is winning, they're getting minutes, or the refs are not "picking on them". But a player's true self shows when things are not going well. Have a good attitude regardless of the circumstances.

The Navy SEALS like to say, "Under pressure we don't rise to the occasion, but rather sink to the level of our training." When crisis hits or adversity comes our way, it highlights who we are and how we've prepared. How we PREPARE TODAY will determine how we PERFORM TOMORROW.

Good Friday is our reminder that when everything feels lost, when darkness seems to take over, there is hope on the way. We know a better ending because we know a victorious Savior. Darkness may last for a while, but joy comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:5)

Leadership is about making people and situations better. Leadership isn't about your status, talent, position, title, authority, role, or age.

Winning cultures don’t have athletes pointing fingers, blaming others, or making excuses. Winning cultures don't have coaches doing these things either. Winning cultures have people coming together to find solutions, share results, and take responsibility for the process.

"You have to practice and play and behave like a winner if you want to win games. You can't just decide you're going to be that day a winner. That's not how it is. You have to be that every single day in your approach and in your execution."

One’s GPA is very important in determining what universities will be an option for them. But universities also want to see what expenses, passions, and initiatives the student has spent their time doing. Be well rounded! #collegeadvising #pursuepassions

PSA for student athletes don't start getting focused on who is getting what offer around you. The comparison bug gets to everyone. Run your race. Trust the process. And remember you only need the one right coach/program to believe in you.

We recently welcomed Dr. Tim Baghurst of Florida State University to campus. Dr Baghurst is one of the foremost thinkers in sport coaching. It was an honor to introduce him to some of the most qualified, dynamic athletic administrators and coaches I know. All of it is right here Indian Rocks Christian School

Coaching high school basketball is seeing potential before anyone else does. It's not just about what a player is—it’s about what they *can* become. Teach them effort, resilience, accountability. You’re shaping future leaders, not just athletes.
