My Afro hair is getting bigger & the hats are getting smaller. A lovely recovery nurse with long braids showed me her technique for tying her #theatrecap. If you have big hair/dreads/braids try this! Step 1 - get an orthopaedic hood. Normally worn in this way (pics at home)

Jo Coburn: People will be aghast that £3000 is being paid out because you're on strike? Dr Anna Warrington: "I'm aghast that the NHS has to pay private contractor rates to meet their essential needs... the government needs to finance the NHS adequately so this doesn't arise."

We are horrified by the recent Israeli bombing of Ahli Arab Hospital in #Gaza City, which was treating patients and hosting displaced Gazans. Hundreds of people have reportedly been killed. This is a massacre. It is absolutely unacceptable...

The BMA is appalled by the bombing of Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza. Medical facilities are protected under international humanitarian law; patients should not be killed in their beds and neither should the doctors and other healthcare professionals treating them. (1/2)

I don’t always know the right words to say, but as a physician and human, the violence toward medical facilities and patients in Gaza is awful and heartbreaking. To all my colleagues in health care risking their lives to save others, my heart is with you.

The brutal collective punishment in #Gaza must end. 🔴 Indiscriminate attacks must stop now. 🔴 Forcible displacement must stop now. 🔴 Assaults on healthcare must stop now. 🔴 Restrictions on aid and the siege must stop now. 🔴 It all #MustStopNow!
