Some fantastic work from 5JC. After inspiration from watching The Grinch stealing Christmas, the children wrote instructions to help you steal Christmas🎄!! They were highly motivated publishing their work!! How amazing do they look!! 🎅🏼 Castle Batch School Jack Chambers The Priory Learning Trust

A fun maths lessons !! Using fractions to share the chocolate bars equally on each table before they got to each have a piece. The language that the children used was fantastic! Great work!! Merry Christmas! 🎄🎅🏼 Jack Chambers Castle Batch School

A fantastic start to term 3 for 5JC. A great morning exploring space in the explorer dome. The children showed incredible knowledge and were fascinated with the pictures and videos !! Thank you very much Explorer Dome ! Castle Batch School Jack Chambers

The children were learning to throw and catch using the correct technique. The children had lots of fun and completed many challenges - such as throw the ball , complete head, shoulders, knees and toes and proceed to catch the ball. Fantastic work y5 Jack Chambers Castle Batch School

Wow! I have had the privilege of being apart of 5JC from the start of the year. I have loved every minute getting to know each and every one of them within the class. Thank you to all at Castle Batch School. 5JC you will be missed!🫶🏻 Jack Chambers

Extremely productive, engaging and purposeful twilight tonight. What a fabulous team of dedicated professionals across our schools. Thank you. #oracyskills Voice 21 Oracy Hannah Bakary

Today was our first maths journaling session in year 1. Look at everything we know about 8 and 4! No right or wrong answer, just playing and exploring with our maths knowledge. Our confidence as mathematicians sky rocketed and everyone was able to share. Pawlett Primary School Academy

The restaurant in Heron garden was very busy today with lots of orders and things on a personal menu. Not only that, a spa opened up next door with hot stone massages being given out. Child led play which led to writing opportunities - a perfect afternoon! Pawlett Primary School Academy

Great day with our primary and secondary trainees developing our understanding of metacognition and self regulation Five Counties SCITT The Priory Learning Trust

Making the most of the sunshine, we went outside to draw clocks on the floor. We carefully plotted the numbers in the correct place and then correctly recorded o’clock times. Everyone was fantastically engaged! Pawlett Primary School Academy

Heron class used traverse for the first time developing their oracy skills. They all did a fantastic job discussing what their favourite food is. The children used the sentence stem ‘I agree/disagree because’. I was super impressed. Great job! Pawlett Primary School Academy Kirsty Hartnup

A great morning exploring the quantities of numbers between 11-19. The children found objects in the garden and partitioned the tens and ones showing their understanding on whiteboards. Great work from Herons Lisa Dadds Pawlett Primary School Academy Kirsty Hartnup The Priory Learning Trust

In Herons the children took part in a guided drawing session. I am extremely proud of their hard work and their artistic skills. The children drew Supertato, following step by step instructions. Good work Herons!! 👩🏼🎨🎨 Pawlett Primary School Academy Emma Barker Kirsty Hartnup

Herons super star readers for this term📚 fantastic job. I wonder will who be a star reader this week? Pawlett Primary School Academy Emma Barker The Priory Learning Trust Kirsty Hartnup

Harry the tortoise came to visit us for the day. We used our scientific skills to investigate the best waterproof materials for a shelter for him. As the children built the props for the shelters they broke out into song… What a beautiful moment! Pawlett Primary School Academy Megan Barrett

It is so fantastic when our learning enquiry knowledge is shown in our English guided drawing sessions. Our fact file knowledge about important historical nurses and the portraits of these brave nurses is super sticky! Interpretation, understanding and empathy. Pawlett Primary School Academy

Final day with our excellent trainee teachers preparing for their ECT year. Fantastic to work with them this year and see their development. Good luck in your future jobs and enjoy! Gregg Morrison Five Counties SCITT
