We are pleased to welcome the Class of 2030 to Lea Manor for their Transition day. The day kicked off with their first of many assemblies here at Lea Manor and introduced them to our team that will be looking after them for the next 5 years. Welcome to Lea Manor High School!

This week is Enrichment Week here at Lea Manor: a week full of extra-curricular activities to take learning outside the classroom in the run up the summer holidays. We kicked the week off in style today with a Creative Carousel and the Dragons' Den Business Challenge!

Our first activity at PGL Schools & Groups Boreatton Park was abseiling! Pupils propelled themselves down a tower that's over 10m tall, suspended only on a rope. It was a true test of trust, courage and confidence. #LMHSatPGL

Lea Manor Challenge=Conquered! Congratulations to Year 7 for completing the Lea Manor Challenge, a nearly 7 mile hike up to the summit of Warden Hill & back. We are proud of the resilience & determination showed by all pupils to make sure that everyone completed this challenge.

Today's Enrichment Week activities saw Year 9 visit Whipsnade Zoo to see the animals they have at the zoo and learn more about the valuable conservation efforts they undertake. Year 9's favourite animals of the trip were the big rhinos and the little fish.

Today was Year 8's turn to visit Whipsnade Zoo and see a variety of animals from all across the globe. It was great to see so many budding photographers among the year group, capture images and memories they will look back on fondly for years to come.

Year 9 visited London today for a chance to become tourists and take in the wonderful culture of our capital city. Our walking tour took us past spectacular sights including the London Eye, Westminster and the Houses of Parliament, and Buckingham Palace.

As Staff return back to school after a restful summer break to prepare for the start of the new academic year, we take a look back and celebrate all of our Employees of the Month for the last year We look forward to celebrating more amazing staff achievements in the coming year!

Our Class of 2030 started their first year at Lea Manor today, and the Class of 2026 started their final year. Both year groups had assemblies lead by Headteacher J Pather to help start them off on these important first and last steps of their Lea Manor journeys.
