Today Y3 Cream began their new PE topic of Fitness. We discussed why it is important that we keep our bodies fit and learnt some ways that we can do this. We then completed a circuit, performing exercises that focused on developing our lower body strength 🏋️♀️🏃➡️🧘♂️ Mab Lane PE
Year 3 had a lovely afternoon planting some trees in the local area. We impressed Paul and his team with our plant and tree knowledge, before helping them to put the trees into their new homes in the ground 🌳🍃 We are super excited to watch the trees grow! Mab Lane Primary Sch
Year 3 Cream completed a ‘Children in Need’ themed computing lesson on Friday. Our computing topic is ‘Publishing’ so we created our own Pudsey posters thinking carefully about the headings, information and images that we needed to include 💛 Computing at Mab Lane Mrs Briggs
Year 4 had a lovely day exploring Chester and CWAC Museums as part of our Romans topic. We visited a real amphitheater and practiced formation training as soldiers, before completing a workshop learning all about how archeologists find things out! 🔍 Mr Morgan Mab Lane Primary Sch

Today in computing Year 3 Cream learnt how use loops to repeat actions when creating codes. This required us to determine what codes needed to be repeated, and to think logically about the order of the codes, including the ones within a loop 💻 Computing at Mab Lane Mrs Briggs

A group of KS2 students from Mab Lane represented Liverpool in the Panathlon Challenge Multi Sports regional finals in Bolton yesterday, sadly we did not place but we had a lovely day and played very well as a team 🏏⚽️🥌 Mab Lane Primary Sch

This week in music Year 2 Yellow continued to look at the structure of music by exploring rhythms. We focused on listening to, writing and clapping different rhythms based on a story. We learnt to recognise one-beat notes and paired-half-beat notes 🎶 Music at Mab Lane
