I had the privelege of organising a staff Wheelchair Basketball Tournament this afternoon as a wellbeing activity! The hilarity that came with the tournament was unrivalled! Staff were fully invested, super competitive and raised money for charity! Well done to the Orange Team!

Our Year 12s have been sailing a tall ship called Pelican, from Liverpool to Oban this week. A fantastic enrichment opportunity offered to sixth formers at NLA. We have been joined by UTC and Studio students for this expedition.

Our students have been accompanied on their tall ship expedition by a professor of marine biology and have been studying whilst crewing this magnificent ship.

Our sixth formers are enjoying a trip of a lifetime, sailing the beautiful Pelican from Liverpool to Oban this week.

Our Year 12 students are studying plankton under the microscope whilst sailing from Liverpool to Oban on a tall ship called Pelican. One of the fantastic opportunities available to sixth form students at NLA.

After an inter-watch egg dropping competition, the teams needed to check that the eggs were real by egging the crew!

Emem had the responsibility of steering the tall ship Pelican in to port. A fantastic experience for any Year 12 student.

A trip to the Ocean Explorer Centre in Oban after ten days at sea. A fantastic adventure and an academic learning experience, rolled into one. Tomorrow they are homeward bound.
