A1: Positive interdependence, individual accountability, equal participation, and simultaneous interactions. #MEMSPAchat

A2 Part 1: I think it's important for Ss to set their own team norms and use them to hold eachother accountable! Jamboard is a great tool to use for this! #MEMSPAchat

A2 Part 2: Teammates actively listen, challenge eachother's thinking, push one another, are patient, and all benefit from each other's ideas and mistakes. #MEMSPAchat

A4: Send Ss to breakout rooms with their team to all share responses to "team building" prompts. We can use digital tools such as Peardeck to help students see class commonalities as well! #MEMSPAchat

A5: Talking chips during small group discussions, screencastify videos for timed paired shares, one original thought and one response sticky note on Jamboard. #MEMSPAchat

This allows students to develop positive relationships with their peers regardless of their academic ability. It creates an environment of equity and inclusion. #MEMSPAchat

A6: Ss building skills through non-content activities makes it easier to transfer those skills to content. Ie) Jamboard blossom conversations about favorite movies turns into conversations about different ways to simplify exponential expressions. #memspachat

A7: Peardeck and Jamboard have been great so far! Excited to explore Desmos more and use that as another Ss collaboration tool. #memspachat

A8: Whether we are teaching remotely or in person, we need to TEACH students how to socialize/interact and provide opportunites for them to build relationships with their peers. #memspachat
