I agree! They love the labs from STEMscopes, but I do think they need a better visual. One that will connect and not take too long! Visuals are a great tool for all of my LEP students!

A student asked me yesterday what do I hope to learn from all that is happening- I simply said “I hope that it shows and brings out the best in humanity & the human spirit, that we lift each other up & support each other in our time of need”

Remember this isn’t a contest. Even some teachers make things worse by how much time they spend online or all the bells and whistles they can show. Remember there are no awards & not a competition. Everyone is trying to survive the best they can. Guilt shouldn’t be part of it.

Non-educators, understand that when we are talking about testing children it is not something they sit down and take one day. We call it testing season. It’s a marathon of physical and mental stamina. It takes weeks, even months of preparation. The actual test is 2-3 full days.
