It’s not every day that our schools rewrite playbooks. I’m running on an empty tank, but one thing I have is hope. I didn’t become a teacher to teach compliance. I became a teacher to teach Ss to challenge compliance when it harms them. I gotta practice what I preach. 6/6

A year ago, we had our last day of in-person school. We talked about power poses and painted self-portraits and laughed and had a great time. I reflect on that day often and the power of creating with kids. Schooling has changed, but those opportunities are still possible. ❤️
