Class Winners of Best Joke 😂 🎤 VoiceBox is a joke telling competition for primary schools developed by the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists - it’s designed to raise awareness of the fun & importance of communication 💬 We’ll enter our overall Beancross winner 🎉

🦁 P7 - LION KING PERFORMANCE 👑 ⬇️ A little ‘sneak peak’ at P7’s Lion King performance this afternoon 👀 🥹 As always, I am blown away by the talent, confidence & engagement from pupils participating in Expressive Arts 🎭 Beancross Primary

GHS Science Visit 🧪 I was so proud of the way everyone conducted themselves last week, you were all so responsible and respectful 🥹 We had lots of fun using the bunsen burners for the 1st time when completing our experiments 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬 Grangemouth HS

This week we had our last rugby session 🏉 We really enjoyed these sessions and are looking forward to playing more Hawick Ball for P.E now that we know the rules 🏟️

World Book Day 📚 We created our own book characters and animated them to bring them to life 😆 We also made our own bookmarks to use when we are reading in class 📖 #worldbookday2025

🏗️ STEM MARKETPLACE - CRAFT, DESIGN & ENGINEERING 👷🏻‍♀️ A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our STEM marketplace this afternoon 🫶🏻 Our class STEM representatives were very excited to share their learning with you 🤩 as you’ll see from the pics below 📸

Our P5 - 7 pupils were given challenges linked with Grangemouth Children’s Day 👸🏼 From designing themed floats in P5 🦸🏼, fairground rides in P6 🎡 and new, sustainable stages in P7 🎤

Our younger pupils explored some classic fairytales 🐷 🧌 🏰 while P4’s looked at the story of Noah’s Ark 🌊 I am so impressed with the level of creativity shown by our P1 - 7 pupils 💜 So many skills developed during STEM Week including teamwork, perseverance and innovation 🌟
