To celebrate friendship week, the year 2 children enjoyed acting different scenarios out, showing how they could be a good friend! We also made a ‘random act of kindness’ jar so we could keep the ‘friendliness’ going all year round! #bekind #antibullyingweek

Year 2 had a fantastic afternoon making cards yesterday at Needham Court! It was so lovely to see them engaging in chat with those who lived there and working together. They made Simonside Primary proud with their thoughtful, respectful attitudes.

Year 2 had a fantastic first trip (finally!) yesterday at Marine Park, where they took part in an orienteering activity! They all worked super hard and set a very good example for our school. I couldn’t be prouder of them. Well done, Year 2! Simonside Primary

Y2 Simonside Primary are learning all about Africa in geography so today we made Sistrums…a percussion instrument from Egypt. Sistrum translates into ‘that which is being shaken’ and they are used during religious ceremonies. #scouted_outdoor_learning #creativity
