Today, our students learned about the life cycle of a tree! Each student planted their own seed, and over the course of our tree study, they’ll care for it with water and sunlight, watching it grow. 🌲🌳 Jordyn Martin

Our students had so much fun exploring the school yard, looking for items that come from trees! We observed the different colors of the leaves and sang and spelled the colors as each leaf was collected. Afterward, we sat in a circle and shared our findings. 🍁Jordyn Martin

Today we read “Spookley the Square Pumpkin” and had fun creating our own Spookley pumpkins! We learned all about the shape square and the color orange during this hands-on activity! 🎃 Jordyn Martin

Our students explored the different types of food that grow on trees and engaged their senses by tasting bananas, apples, and oranges. To extend our learning, we glued representations of these foods onto a tree! 🌳🍎🍊🍌Jordyn Martin

Today, we used the leaves we collected on our nature walk to create a leaf color graph! We talked about which colors had the most, which had the least, and which were equal. In the end, we discovered that yellow and green were equal! Jordyn Martin

Today, our little explorers set out on a number hunt to find the number 3 around the classroom! They also completed a number 3 activity, creating pictures, tally marks, a 10-frame, and the numeral itself. We love learning through discovery! Jordyn Martin

Our classroom is bubbling over with positivity for our ‘Woof of the Week’! Each time students make a green choice, they colored in a bubble on our recipe for good behavior chart. Jordyn Martin

Our students explored the different types of animals that make their homes in trees today! Jordyn Martin

Today, our class parent came to our class for a special cultural activity to celebrate Día de los Muertos! She brought an adorable craft for the students to create and keep as a reminder of what we learned. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience! Jordyn Martin

This week was short but our students were excited to start our Reduce, Reuse, Recycle study! We also had plenty of opportunities for review this week. Jordyn Martin

We had so much fun learning the color yellow and the shape triangle. Each student made their own unique triangle pizza with triangle pepperonis! 🍕Jordyn Martin

Today, we learned the different ways to show the number 4! From creating a picture, placing counters in a ten frame, using tally marks, and writing the numeral, we had so much fun exploring this number! Jordyn Martin

Today, our creative students learned that we can reuse toilet paper rolls and transform them into binoculars! They painted their rolls with beautiful colors. We are having so much fun learning through our Reduce, Reuse, Recycle study! ♻️ Jordyn Martin

Our students turned recyclables into creativity by building robots out of reused materials! 🤖♻️ Jordyn Martin

Today, our students joined me for an exciting alphabet adventure! We began with mindfulness and yoga to get focused, then dove into “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom” identifying the letters we’ve been learning! Jordyn Martin

Our Pre-K Thanksgiving Feast was a huge success! 🍁 A big thank you to all the parents who donated and attended today’s special event. Wishing everyone a joyful and safe Thanksgiving! 🦃✨Jordyn Martin

Our students have been using the letters we've learned so far this year to build words! They did an amazing job sounding them out and creating new words. It’s so exciting to see their hard work and progress! Jordyn Martin
