Autism Acceptance Month is in full swing! 1 in 36 children are diagnosed with Autism in the United States, so we should all seek to learn, grow, and be authentically inclusive!

April is Autism Acceptance Month & today is World Autism Acceptance Day! ALE spent some time making hallway displays to build awareness & acceptance. The purple wall has butterflies decorated by our Hobby Hawks that include what makes them unique. ♾️♥️

ALE's 2025 cardboard kid was a winner winner donut dinner! Our students voted on who they wanted to create, helped with color & decorating & then we added some fun AT to make Mirabel interactive! 🍩 We celebrated this morning with donuts & Encanto music.

The highlight of my week was most definitely celebrating these wonderful students at the Hawk Awards & hosting our own little ceremony for our students who couldn't attend. 💜💛🏆 So proud of their accomplishments & growth!

Our baristas are sad to say "see ya later" to the Hobby Hawk Café but they were excited to serve free coffee to our teachers today to celebrate the last Friday of the school year!

Yesterday I had the honor of visiting my first group of students for their fifth grade promotion ceremony! These students taught me so much & will always hold a special place in my heart. ♥️

Our EOY trip to Morgan's Wonderland was definitely the best day of the entire year. 💜
