Does anyone else have a bad influence acquaintance ? Whenever my wife's friend's husband and I get together, we lead each other astray... Our wives try to keep us on the straight and narrow but fail. A policeman and a teacher should be a more sensible mix..

Happy report writing/decorating week... Just painted the boy's room and now realised that I need to do the skirting boards too. No you're putting off writing reports/parenting

I haven't been able to keep up with the demands of #NoShelfControl lately. Other commitments have meant that finding the time to create it has been a challenge. I don't want to stop the newsletter, but I want to make it manageable. half termly - 6 a year or termly - 3 a year?

Glad I proof read that report... I accidentally wrote that a child was a kind and smelly member of our class instead of kind and smiley...

MisterBodd's vegan Biscoff McFlurry... My son has a dairy intolerance and has been getting frustrated seeing the Biscoff McFlurry adverts everywhere. So I decided to make him his own vegan version - and in my opinion... Even better! So simple to make!

Why do teachers in FB groups feel the need to comment on posts when they're not sure of the answer. Some people causing blind panic in KS1 groups about phonics screenings. I wish I had the time/patience to scour social media debunking drivel.

I've seen a few posts saying that the PSC should be all 'real' words as this will check pupils reading abilities. I argue the contrary, it should be all pseudo words. Real words hinder EAL & others with weak vocabulary stores . Pseudo words give everyone equal footing

I've been fantasising about this happening to me today... I think it would be more pleasant than the hayfever that has broken me and my face
