Other than the 20 odd matches I played these past few weeks I hadn't played any Magic since July. Decided to give it a go in the Arena Open, and got there with Mono Red. Feels great to actually do well in an event after being very down on my Magic'ing abilities.

Got to write a preview for IEM Katowice over at Monster. Somehow resisted the temptation to throw soO into my list as one of the players most likely to walk away as World Champion.

Today I had to say goodbye to the one and only Big Annie. Annie was my best friend and companion. She stuck by me no matter what. She was loving, empathic and kind. She put a smile on the face of everyone who met her. I'll miss her, but I'll never forget her. RIP Big Annie.
