My first peer-reviewed article was just published Journal of Race, Ethnicity, and Politics! In it, we argue that pro-White and anti-minority attitudes are crucial to public support for J6. As we embark on a 2nd Trump term, this paper will help us understand continued public support of the MAGA movement.

As I wrap up year 2 on the tenure-track, I’m thrilled to share that my first solo-authored article, “Race, Gender, and Public Opinion Toward Black Female Political Elites,” has been accepted for publication Journal of Politics @[email protected] ! journals.uchicago.edu/doi/abs/10.108…

My first co-authored publication with my mentor Tony Carey Jr. has been published in Political Behavior. We examined how endorsement of Respectability Politics impacts lack of Black support for Police Abolition. Tap in below 👇 rdcu.be/eoy3W rdcu.be/eoy3W

my article for Ethnic and Racial Studies is finally available online. in the article, I overview some of my dissertation findings, urge us to rethink how we think about Latino conservatism and study "Latino politics," and, finally, offer some of my thoughts on the 2024 elections.
