BPS was my first in person conference since Covid. I was able to talk to so many scientist and share my work. It’s really revitalized me and made me excited to get back in lab and push forward. Felt that this photo really strangely captured my happiness during the week!

Danielle Grotjahn uses cutting-edge techniques to study the process of mitochondrial fragmentation inside cancer cells. She aims to identify new targets to block mitochondrial fragmentation as a strategy to prevent cancerous cell proliferation and tumor growth.
